FINAL REFLECTION!! / Part 2: My English Competence in 2012

I've chosen these work because it's the best I have done in my blog. The others were also good, but these have some special reasons to be more than the other stuff.

On the one hand, the oral task I have chosen is the one I made about my research project, and for that reason, I knew a lot of the theme, and I speak more secure. Also, I can show my big project of my birds if I want to send it to a university or work, it's interesting to show that you are hard-working. It was my last presentation, and according to that, I had my best level of english and more practise doing oral presentations. I added a lot of scientific vocabulary in this presentation, and learned it, so I think that my level of english regarding the scientific part.

On the other hand, my best redation is about a reflection of life, and about everyone of us, how life goes on and what are we expected to be in this society. I really love that composition. It reflects so good my mind and what I think, and in my opinion it's good to know it, think it's a good advice for life. I love the structure of this text, because is so mature. It combines rhetorical questions and  its answers, that shows my dominion of the language.

In conclusion, those are the ones that I really love in my blog, and that I really enjoyed doing them. :)

FINAL REFLECTION!! / Part 1: My english progress.

I want to began my final reflection with: Ha ha!... I've read my first compsition in November 2010 and I have compared it with my last post, and did the same with my oral presentations. It's a good experience to do, interesting... and funny! I've laughed :).


On the one hand, two years ago I didn't put connectors, all were points, more points, more points, an "and"!, more points... simple sentences! Now I put more connectors, and also I've practised more my oral english, so my english now is more usual and not only the structure of the text, it's more complemented, usually with expressions. My language is now more light, not so hard to read. My vocabulary is more extended, and I know a lot of new words! (Thanks to blog... :3) My paragraphs are now more organized and clear.


On the other hand, my oral presentations have improved so much! I think that my nerves are still there every time I have to talk to a class, but in someway I'm happy of my progress. All the powerpoints I have done... it's sad now to think about it... but anyway, I've had a good time. =) My vocabulary was not so vast, and at the end, I can look to people (eye-contact) without getting nervous and I've learned to structure best my powerpoints and the things I have to say.

Also, I have to add that my life has changed A LOT in two years... I can't realize that... and not only my life, also my mind... I see me then like a little more optimistic, but also innocent. I remember that I was so happy to began batxillerat, because I was tired of ESO and people in class shouting. Now, I'm tired of batxillerat... life is like growing. You always appeal to bigger and bigger worlds, now I am excited with university... :)

NEWS!! Discovered the light of a "super-earth" out the Solar System.

The space telescope Spitzer of NASA has detected for the first time the light of a "super-earth", called "Cancri 55 e" with infrared light. It's localized in the solar system of the star "Cancri 55", relatively "near" us, at 41 light years.

That is a historic moment because it opens another way to search life in other planets in space. The spaceship is very speciallized in the study of far atmospheres, and this technique can be used now in habitable planets.

The "super-earths" are bigger than our planet but are lighter than others, like Neptune. Cancri 55 e has the double of size than The Earth. It's covered of water (liquid and gas) and revolves around a sun.

Middle Cancri 55 e is always dark and the other part is always illuminated. This part is over 2000 grades Kelvin, then there metal can be melted!

NEWS!! First photo of an albino killer-whale!

A group of russian scientifics have photographed for first time a strange specimen of killer-whale, and albino one, at the north of the Pacific, at the east of the Kamchatka peninsula. It's name is Iceberg. (So cute, don't you think? ^^)

The killer-whale was seen with a group of twelve other killer-whales, in one of the biggest reserve of Russia. The photos have been published in this webpage: Russian Orca.

"Now, Iceberg is a symbol of all the things non discovered, pure, wild, fascinating and exciting that the ocean has." said Erich Hoyt director of Far East Russia Orca Project (FEROP). "The objective is to keep nature and the oceans healthy because all this kind of surprises could happen."

In my opinion, this is a very fascinating discovering, and makes me realize that all I want to do in my life is fight for nature, keep it calm and pure, make no one kill her, don't let no one dirty my home.

What to do in the summer...?

When I finish Batchillerat I'll be so happy and I'm sure I'll have some days to relax, maybe two weeks. I want to do the best I can now, because if I don't do it, after doing selectivity I will feel anxious about my final mark, and nervous because I could have done it better. Now, I'm going to university!


I will work with my father in our company: Frigos Inn, every mornings but saturday, and all day sunday. It's about a company of renting fridges to people in campings. My father goes with the big van camping to camping, delievering and returning frigos, and some others are cleaning them. I'm the girl that is at the phone, waiting for someone to call for any problems, to book a fridge or changing dates.

I will also, try to be most of the time with my loved boyfriend. I really love him, and we hope that this summer we could see us more, because with the school we can't so much. In July he will work in the mornings, as me, but in the afternoon we couldn't see us, because he lives in Blanes, 1 hour 15 minutes from me... but in August it will be better :).

The afternoons I will go to the beach, and go rollerblading... I'm really anxious, I want the summer!!!

Summerizing, I want to go to the beach and eat a lot of ice cream and candies to enjoy my final year in high school. Also, to pass a good time with my family and my boyfriend, I love them so! (in  different ways, of course :P)

Photos to... kitesurfers!!

Kitesurfing is a very eye-catching sport but it's also dangerous! I have a lot of times talked about it in this blog, but now it's different...!


My father is a kitesurfer since I was ten, and one day one year ago he asked me to go to the beach and take photos of him, and I went. After this, my parents gave me my great camera: Canon EOS 1100 D, because of my TDR. I needed my camera to take photos of my birds, but now I also use it for taking photos to my father and other kitesurfers.

First of all, I only took photos of my father, but when his kitesurfing friends saw me, and the photos I took to my father also wanted some of them... I'm thinking now to make a little money with this in the summer: 0,10 cents for photo you want, and if it's so good, we can bargain the price... =P

Now my boyfriend is thinking about doing kitesurfing, and I'm really happy (I don't practise it anyway XD). My father wants to teach him how to do it, and I hope he'll like it, it would be really nice! =3

Incredible Reflection.

I read it all, and I think that it's so good written, and it's interesting.

In my life, I've also been an non understood one... I really believe that we, this kind of people, that are not like all the others, that we're are different, and think so. We're the ones that we may find a good job, we might not, but that it's not so important. We also can kill our difficulties, and fly away. Probably, we won't be perfect students in school, but we're, for sure, the ones that will support the world, because most of the people really doesn't care of anything, they only... live.

And you say: "OK, I also only want to live."

But I really believe that we're the strong ones, that will have very good, and very hard experiences, and think that it's the best life one can have: incredible experiences, but dangerous... unkind sometimes.

But, anyway, don't worry about your future, and you know why? I've thought so much about it, and my conclusion was that all I had was... FEAR. But... of what? Of the world and the fact that I couldn't control my life 120%. Life is growing up, and my final conclusion was that I never have to worry about things I can't control, or the past. Only... do what you can, the best, for now to future.

ICE WAR!! (Funny experiene in highschool)

When I was doing 4th of ESO, one day it began to snow. It was so strange, because here in Spain it almost never happens!

That day, we were doing maths in class with Montse, and all of us began to speak and look through the window. Montse wrote on the blackboard: "It's snowing squared!" something that made me laugh so much for a long time.

We had to return home, because it was snowing hard and we wouldn't be able to return later with the bus. Three days later, we went to highschool, because all had been collapsed for the snow and the ice. All the playground was covered with ice, and we began to catch pieces of it, and throw them among us.

All the people were into it, and we had a great time! But now that I remember, we're lucky that any of us was being hurt that day! Anyway, a very gunny good experience!

Selectivity... I'm worried...!

I really don't know how I will prepare for that important exam... I'm so worried about it! Everyone says that it's not so complicated as we expect selectivity would be, but what I need to study the degree course I really want to do is an eight in all the subjects I'm examining of.

Some people don't need to make so kind of effort, because they want to do a degree with a lower mark to success, but I really need to: To study Genetics in Barcelona (UAB, the only place in Spain they do the degree) I have to have 11.13 of 14 (7.95 of 10), so high mark!!

By the other way, more I think about that, more nervous I'm getting, so I try to relax and think about other things better and more calmly (that doesn't always work...). One think I've spoken with other people in class is that all they are so stressed and most of them are having nervous attacks frequently... maybe, I'm not the only one. n_n"

If I turn my vision to the optimistic side, I also can realize that all people that are in University and have done batxillerat also had faced the reality, and reminded their imagination calm and cold, and passed this bad experience... I also want to, I'm tired of my worring!!! :3

Do you believe in love...?

Love... what a strange thing.


Who really knows what is it about? We all say we are in love, but who knows if we are all feeling the same "love"?

In my opinion, everyone is different, and consequently there are so many types of loving: Some people might be rather affectionate, and some others more serious. In my case I'm someone so warm and happy in love, because I think that this is one of the things in life we can enjoy more. =P In our lifes we all have been, for sure, in love more than one time.


The good thing about it is that all our experiences are different, and they all begin and end in different ways, but when we remember them, we can find something that makes you smile! I think all our relationships can't be so sad and terrible (most of times, as they end), it would be good that we could control our memories to catch the best of them.

But, unfortunately, we can't usually do it and the memories that remind best in our minds are the worst and the ones that had a bad impression in our lifes: unpleasant moments. Those are the ones that we have to try to keep inside, that are only our's. Probably, our experience is more based in the bad ones that in the good ones, and our character is defined by them, and that's true, in all cultures, idioms, people, countries... nevermind!


In conclusion, we might not be perfect in love and sometimes we can promise things that we might regret later, but we are humans, and like the other animals, we can't be perfect!!

Death of a Beekeeper... the new book!

Hello Ricard!

Haven't you heart about the new book I've written?? It's so fast to read, and also it has terror, I know you like it ;).

It's about a beekeeper that lives alone in a small town very far from big cities, and he has problems with the bee-eaters, birds that are colorful and eat a lot of insects, specially bees and dragonflies. He became so angry because of those birds, and tried to kill them all with a shotgun, but it didn't work. 

The next day, a very beautiful morning because of the shiny sun and the green of the trees, he went to see how their bees were. He got dressed up with the special dress, opened their beehives, and the bees began to cover his body. After this, he looked at the sky and saw 200 bee-eaters, going to kill him. He tried to run, but couldn't, and....

If you read the book, you'll see how it ends. Hope you do it, and like it! ^^

Dear Mr Barack Obama,

I write to you because I've heard about KONY 2012 project and request to send some soldiers of USA to Uganda to stop and fight Kony.

On the first hand, I really don't know if this is real or if it's true, but I've real doubts. I don't think that a reporter goes to Africa and became so motivated to began a big movement like this, where all his life must be included.

On the other hand, I would like to trust with this initiative, because it's so ideologic and exemplary. I really haven't heard about something so big and important like this before, and hope it's real and it'll have all support by USA, other countries and the civil population.

I would like that USA contributes a lot in this project, because I think you're powerful and that you can promote so much this good and incredible social propose.

NEWS!! ...Right to water...?

Water and sanitation have been formally recognised as human rights as they are indispensable for the full enjoyment of the right to life, the right to health and the right to dignity.

However, as recommended by the Independent Expert, there is a process underway to recognise water and sanitation as individual rights. The protection and fulfilment of the rights to water and sanitation requires specific measures, and therefore should be fully recognised as autonomous human rights.

All human beings depend on a daily amount of safe drinking water for consumption, personal hygiene and subsistence, and on a hygienic and dignified method for excreta disposal to avoid disease.

In my country this situation is completely different: we all have water to wash, to clean, to drink and to swim and play with it. It's so current to have water in developed countries that we don't think about it too much, and we waste water again and again. It would be better if everyone of us would save some water, also because we're going on a very hot age with climatic change.

In Africa, there's so many people that can't drink potable water, and have with this lack of hygiene malaria and other dangerous diseases that wouldn't be there if the right of water and sanitation would be entirely respected and accomplished.

We possibly can't do so much to solve the problem, but I'm sure that if we all together save water, and we're careful about this aspect we surely can solve the problem of zones that are so dry. People then, could drink and satisfy, a little better, their essential needs.

The freedom of speech, I think it's a right that is really ignored and violated in many countries. For example, in Cuba, there's a hard repression and censure of so many and diferent ideas. But here in Spain and in all the world there are so many people that can express themselves, and become together to solve some problems with the power of union.

Manga's Fair: 01.11.2011

The first of November of 2011 I went to Barcelona with train to visit one of the best fairs that are made here in the capital: Manga's Fair.

A lot of people go there dressed up with their favourite characters of series, mangas, gameplays (PC, PlayStation...), etc. I went there with Laila and Meriem Abjil, and Estefania Barrientos they're classmates ^^. I didn't dress up that day, because I hadn't the oportunity to. I would like to dress up next year, or in Comic's Fair in May 2012.

I saw a lot of comics and manga's I hadn't seen before, and I bought japanese incense... i really love it. I had a good time with my friends, and we also ate noodles!! But really japanese instantanian noodles! They were really good and nice. Also, we saw real kimonos in an exposition in the fair.

We spent the day there visiting the little stores there were inside, and then we drank something in Barcelona Sants. At the afternoon we catched the train to return to Figueras. A very good day, and experience!!

NEWS!! Birds & butterflies... affected for the climatic change.

The climatic change makes terrible and powerful variations at the global distribution of plants and animals, but there aren’t effects at long periods of time, yet. This has worsened the task of discovering how every taxonomic group is affected for those changes and what the real consequences are.

“A specific type of organism is adapted to its environment, and this provides it the optimum conditions for his metabolism, diet and reproduction.” explains the biologist of the study Constantí Stefanescu, of the Natural Science Museum of Granollers. “If the temperature changes, animals have also to make it at the same time and speed, but they usually can’t do it. This is told Climatic Debt.”

During two decades the climatic change has been studied and its consequences for 9.490 comunities of birds and 2.130 of butterflies around Europe. Between 1990 and 2008 the European temperature has displaced 250 km north. The bird’s comunities only moved 37 km since then and butterflies moved 114 km.

And the adaptative answer to the climatic changes depends of a lot of factors, for example, the landscape barriers and the characteristics of every type of specie. “Birds are slower than butterflies because their vital cicle is longer, and the poblational response is slower.” says Stefanescu.

The results of the study are really important because the climatic change is what really matters (in general) and also that if some species are affected for the climatic change, all the food chain would be totally affected.

MY IDEAL PARTNER

I'm looking for a guy who lives maximum in two hours with car of my home. His age must be between 19 and 25.

Physically, I really love a long straight dark-haired man, it makes him look so wild and brave, pale soft skin, wide grey, green or dark eyes, and so important: broad-shouldered! He often would go to the gym to work out. He doesn't have to be tall, I rather prefer him not to be so tall, but to have a straight nose and a sweet smile. =)

Psycologically, he definitely must be romantic, intelligent , cheerful and really active. Someone to do sport woth, he also has to take care of me and himself and do a lot of activities together. He must have ESO studies minimum, and I've also to see he's an intellectual guy. It would be perfect if he liked metal (any genre of it), and to be very faithful and a little jealous. =P He definitely can't be a typical Spanish patriotic, anticatalanist or broad-minded. It's better if he's a food lover and likes little things in life, but also to be ambitious and carismatic.

In conclusion, he must be someone that loves doing activities with me, and that know how make me smile everytime of our life together.

PD: At the beginning of the composition I've written: "I'm looking for...", what you don't know... is that I've already met him... (L)

Games.... League of Legends!! (LoL)

League of Legends is a game that so much people in the earth know and play usually. There are world tournaments, with high prizes! (2500 euro...) It's really addictive!!! My nick name is Oryio.

Some people in class play it, like Pere or Pablo, and me. My boyfriend also plays LoL, and you can meet a lot of people there, because it's and online game. I can play with my boyfriend and his friends of the class, and make battles in one team.

When you log in with your account (it's free :D), you have your battle points (that you win playing the game), which allows you to buy new heroes or Riot Point

s (that you recharge with real money = euro, I won't pay anything for the game) which allows you to buy different aspects of the heroes or heroes faster.

This game consists of invade the enemy's base, by your own hero of legend. You can make so many types of game: 3 vs. 3, 5 vs. 5, Dominion (capture bases)... I usually do 3 vs. 3 when I'm alone, and when I play with other people 5 vs. 5. It's a strategy game, and you have to think a lot what to do to kill the other heroes, when, and how! The two teams have subdits that help to win the battle. You can talk with the other players with a chat, and make strategy.

All the heroes have a story, and it's good to catch the ones you are similar to. My first hero was an ice archer, Ashe, but now I've found my perfect one: Nidalee. Nidalee is a girl from the wild jungle, that is an archer, but when she was little a family of pumas adopted her, and now she can convert in one of them, and she's so powerful!

PD: In the game we always speak english... practice for school!! XD

NEWS!! Life in the deepest cave of the planet?! =O

The living beings are so adaptative in any environment, also at the deepest places of the Earth. A prove of that is that an hispanic-russian investigation team has discovered another specie of arthropod in a cave of more of 2.000 meters depth. It’s the deepest cave in the world, in Georgia.

The discovered specie, Plutomurus ortobalaganensis, should have been separed from its kind one million years ago, and then it began to get adapted to its new environment. Without light, their eyes disappeared and its antennas grew up and so it can touch its environment and the chemical signs. Its colour also has disappeared, it’s transparent.

Their size is 6 mm maximum, and they live between the rocks, and their last part of the body is adapted to jump large distances. The scientists can’t explain how these little animals can feed themselves yet, because they haven’t discovered any organism to produce their own feed.

NEWS!! Solar tornados dancing across sun!

The launching in 2010 of the space telescope SDO (Solar Dynamic Observatory) has been sending us during those two years some of the most incredible images of our star. Thanks to this telescope nearly every day we assist a new facet of the Sun.

The latest images of SDO of the space have discovered an enormous tornado, of our planet’s size, that is moving in the solar surface at the speed of more than 300.000 km an hour.

The images of 30 hours describe a “fire tornado” made of plasma that is going round in the solar corone at incredible speed.

This tornado is not made for the same causes that Earth tornados are made for. In our planet, the tornados are made because of fluctuations of temperature and preassure in the atmosphere, but the cause of this giant solar tornado is because of the magnetic forces of the star.
